Dr. Wesley Vance serves as the Pastor at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at The Fellowship Kansas City, Pastor Wesley served at Lenexa Baptist Church and owned a regional insurance agency specializing in employee compensation packages. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Baylor University and a Masters and Doctorate from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. Pastor Wesley combines the heart of a pastor with the practical experience of a business leader. He and his wife, Amy, have been married since 2001 and have two children, Addison and Owen. Together, it is their goal to see the gospel flourish around the world in this generation.
Tyler Wilkins Serves as Pastor of Discipleship and Community at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at The Fellowship Kansas City, Tyler grew up at Pisgah Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs, MO. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies from Southwest Baptist University and a Masters in Biblical Languages from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tyler combines the heart of a pastor with the practical experience of working in leadership and management roles in the local business community since 2010. He and his wife, Emily, have been married since 2008 and have three children, Eden, Uriyah, and Rynlee Kate. Together, it is their goal to follow Jesus by serving the church, and being witnesses of the Gospel to the world around them.
Nancy Meyers-Harvey serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at The Fellowship KC, Nancy served on staff at Lenexa Baptist Church. Nancy has been serving in children’s ministry, as a volunteer or staff member for approximately 25 years. Nancy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. Nancy and her husband, Scott have been married since 1988 and have two adult daughters, Jessica and Nicole. It is Nancy’s desire to partner with parents to share the Gospel with kids and to grow a love for Jesus and God’s Word in the hearts of the next generation.
David Andrews serves as the Worship Director at The Fellowship Kansas City. He has served at numerous churches in marketing, church experience, and worship roles before joining The Fellowship Kansas City. David desires to create a transformational atmosphere where Christ followers and non-believers can experience God, both online and in-person.
Dr. Jared Bumpers serves as Senior Preaching Fellow at Fellowship Kansas City. In addition to his role at FKC, Jared is the Director of Student Life and Events and serves as Assistant Professor of Preaching and Ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. With over a decade of church ministry experience, Jared holds a B. S. in Pastoral Ministry from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri; a M.Div. from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia; a Th.M. in Biblical Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia; and a Ph.D. in Christian Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Jared is married to his wife, Kimberly, and they have four children: McCartnie, Rush, Maverick, and Jett.
Tyler Holloway serves as a Pastoral Fellow at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at FKC, Tyler served at Ridgedale Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well as serving at the local universities Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is currently working on his Master’s of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tyler has a desire to see Christ Followers equipped through teaching the Word of God and seeing the Gospel made known to the ends of the earth.
Scott Meadows serves as a Pastoral Fellow at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving the Fellowship Kansas City, Scott worked as a Multimedia Specialist for his alma mater and worked for the Missouri Baptist Convention as a Media Intern. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Mass Media: Video Broadcasting and Production and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches and campus ministries across Missouri with specific emphasis in Kearney, Liberty, Kansas City, and Maryville. With a passion for the Scriptures, discipleship, creativity, the arts, specialty coffee, and different cultures, Scott desires to serve the church through his variety of interests and skills.
Landon Smith serves as a Pastoral Fellow at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at FKC, he served at the Church at Rock Creek in Arkansas. Landon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at Arkansas Tech University, where he competed in football. Landon is currently working on his Master’s of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his fiancé Regan are excited for their wedding day in July 2022, and both desire to see believers equipped and non-believers reached for the sake of the Gospel.
Jacob Yarborough serves as a Pastoral Fellow at The Fellowship Kansas City. Prior to serving at The Fellowship Kansas City, Jacob served in several churches around Fort Worth, TX. He holds two Associates of Applied Science degrees from Tarrant County College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary. Jacob combines the heart of a pastor with years of experience working in the trades industry. With a passion for the Scriptures, evangelism, ethics, apologetics, logic, philosophy, carpentry, finance, and hearing people’s life stories, Jacob desires to proclaim the name of Christ to all people, helping equip and encourage them through his variety of interests and skills.
