WELCOME TO FELLOWSHIP KIDS

 At Fellowship Kansas City we have fun! We facilitate active, engaging lessons with varied levels of engagement for a multifaced approach to learning that includes teaching time around a table, small group time in circles on the floor, game time where we move around the room and free play time where we interact with our friends. All of these intentional learning rhythms create a space where instruction is interactive, enjoyable, and exciting!

Sunday Services!

You'll find all our Kid Min classes taking place in our lower building. Come on in the double glass doors and one of our ambassadors with a blue lanyard will greet you and assist you with check-in!

Kid Min doors open for drop off at 9:15am.

We offer two hours of kid min both at 9:30 and 11:00. Your children are welcome to stay for both hours, as they cover the same material but with different lessons, teachers and activities. Or, you're welcome to just bring your children for only one of those hours; whatever suits your Sunday morning needs best!

Our toddlers through 5th graders all experience a large group worship time, a bible lesson, fun engaging activities and some free-play fun during their morning at Fellowship Kids!

At Fellowship Kansas City we respect others. We respect property, we respect our leaders, and we respect each other.

Relationship
At Fellowship Kansas City we strive to build relationships with each and every child we serve as well as their families. We greet children by name and strive to create a space where children feel comfortable, safe, known and loved when they attend Fellowship Kids programming.

Leaders
At Fellowship Kansas City we ensure good child-to- leader ratios. Every class has a minimum of two leaders at all times. Often having a third leader to ensure every child is getting adequate attention and that no leader is ever alone with a child.
At Fellowship Kansas City all our leaders are background checked, are members in good standing with the church, and are modeling Christlike behavior both inside and outside the church space.

Sensory Friendly
At Fellowship Kansas City we understand that children may need a break from an overstimulating environment, and we are prepared to offer them a spot in the hallway to take a break from the noise, or a visit to another classroom to help them calm down. We also have sensory options like fidgets and headphones available for children that may need them. The child can ask at any point during the class for these items and as long as they are being used safely and respectfully, may have them at any point.
